The majority of our day was spent driving from Isle of Skype to Inverness. We were technically staying outside of Inverness about 20 miles near Loch Ness. It was very remote and there appeared to be no one there either. We were staying in a bear hut which was very cute. It was built in a trailer so the best way to describe it is #vanlife. Everything was very tiny and packed into a tiny space. While it would be cute for a couple, I think staying there with my dad was not the most ideal arrangement for us as it was very cramped.
The hut had directions for a short walk which we attempted to follow but kept getting off track. I don't think we ever found the correct path but we did find a big fluffy bull! I have been dying to see a fluffy Scottish highland cow and here he was! He was very big and kept inside a gated and electric fence. The whole time he just minded his business munching on his hay and occasionally looked at us to pose. In Scotland they call the fluffy cows here Highland Coos. This was definitely the up close experience I had been wanting to see the Highland Coo.
We drove down to Loch Ness for dinner. Loch Ness is famous for the monster named Nessie who resides in the loch.
